Here I am, here's some news.
"I will still be here on DA as usual! I'm not happy with all the changes coming but I'm sure I'll get used to it, it doesn't seems too terrible" ...so that was me last year shortly before Eclipse dropped. Guess I was wrong, oops. I was not expecting it, but as soon as DeviantArt permanently changed over to Eclipse, I didn't have the motivation to keep up. I was expecting and ready to accept the change, but my brain simply didn't want to deal with the fact that my childhood haunt was not the same. I was planning to return after just a couple weeks, but here we are now over a year later. And I am so sorry that I never told you guys, but I just lost my momentum for this site. Looking for style critique, again
Hey hey hey, here I am again!
So a bit over a year ago, I made a journal asking you guys to critique my style. I wrote it at a bit of a low time in my artistic life, and didn't have too much art to show for my style. Therefore the advice I got at the time was basically to branch out, try drawing different subjects, and practice things like anatomy, colors, and other things I wasn't 100% comfortable with. It was all really good and valid advice for me, and I tried to keep these things in mind for the following year!
